■MATERIAL:Reuse American Sea Island Cotton Selvage Denim
By creating denim with the world's finest Sea Island cotton, we have created a unique and contradictory atmosphere of a rough, uneven look created by the nep-like feel seen in the early denim yarn of the 1880s, and a supple, high-quality touch and a deep luster.
・Ingredients
We use an extremely rare American Sea Island cotton that is only harvested 0.000004% of cotton harvested worldwide.
Because of its rareness, it could only be grown in the West Indies (Caribbean) as a luxury item due to its world's highest fiber length and fineness, it was considered a popular item in the West Indies (Caribbean), and was prohibited from being exported to other countries from the end of the 16th century. It originated from the time it was brought to the Sea Island region of the United States in the 18th century and was cultivated, and was named Sea Island Cotton when it was brought to the Sea Island region of the United States in the 18th century.
However, the plant was devastated by pests, and it was no longer cultivated in 1922, but after 13 years of trial cultivation, American Sea Island cotton was revived in 2017 after about 100 years of trial cultivation.

We combine the drop cotton that occurs when spinning American Sea Island cotton at a high rate, and we mix and spin it with a small amount of Virgin Sea Island cotton to ensure the strength of the yarn.
·staining
It is dyed with indigo rope, and the good dyeing properties unique to Sea Island cotton make it dyed deeper than usual.

It is slowly driven at a high density using an old-fashioned power loom (shuttle loom).
・Finishing

When washed, it becomes fuzzy, shrink, and twist, allowing you to experience the atmosphere of the time.
*In order to reproduce the appearance of the thread at the time, we spin a high mix of cotton that occurs during the spinning process, and the strong neps and slabs appear randomly, but we ask for your understanding as this is a characteristic of this material.
